Highly Structured Christ-Centered Program

We incorporate Biblical principles into an exciting academic program to lay a solid foundation for a child’s spiritual, educational, mental, emotional, social, and physical needs to ensure kindergarten readiness.

Pre-Kindergarten

Pre-K students continue the A Beka program and elements of Handwriting Without Tears at the next level. The Bible curriculum is more detailed and children learn more complex Bible verses. Application of Christian principles and social skills are consistently woven into the academics. More advanced phonics and reading skills are taught such as sounding of blends, one and two-vowel words, and words with special sounds. Number concepts like sequence and order are taught.

Telling time, using a calendar, money concepts, and learning basic elements of math, history, science, social studies, and geography are all a part of your child’s learning and development! Our teaching philosophy is to make learning fun, in a positive, encouraging way.

The classroom and activities are designed to be much like one they would expect to find in kindergarten. Most students are already at a kindergarten level upon graduation both by public and private school standards.

We consistently get parent feedback from our graduate’s kindergarten teachers that they are impressed with their reading and writing skills. Our goal is for these skills to build a solid foundation and facilitate a positive transition to kindergarten, boosting a child’s confidence in their abilities as they progress through school.

I am very impressed with the staff and programs that His Kids Academy offers my children. They get the education and structure that is needed with emphasis and teachings from the Bible which is very important to our family. I feel like HKA is a little family and my children are treated as such. When I walk in, I feel like I’m at home. Thank you very much for the education and love that you show my children. ~The Touche family
